ANACORTES, Washington

Day One - 1st guests arrive...

...while Ronnie and Valeta settle into "camp" more arrive in town.

Day Two - The early birds visit the Arts & Crafts Fair to get 1st pick of the goodies.

Ronnie and Jim catch up...

...with Chuck about the old days.

Carol and Valeta are ready to
party!

Janice flew in from Chicago to be with her mom...

...and Dad on this special day.

Jim and Lynda make new acquaintances.

Ron Russell is entertaining,
as usual.

Jim wants to know if Ronnie has seen any good movies...

...it just so happens he's seen
"There's Something About Mary."


Gordie puts the last of the day's catch into the pot.


Shorty and Dina keep an eye on the chef.


Bob and Patty are first in line.

Day Three - Too cold for crabbin'...


...but not for gabbin'!

 


Bob and Janice re-unite with their pups.


Dina visits with Shorty & Chet.


Jim finds out what's new and learns about...

 

 

...Ronnie Barber's Pride and Joy

Ron takes Jim for a spin around Anacortes in fine style...

...and they get back in one piece.

 

 

 

Charlie's tummy is growling...

At last, former councilman, Brian "Oyster Boy" Geer, arrives and gets last minute instructions from Jim about how he likes his salmon prepared...


"Just drop it on the grill, flip it over one time and put it on my plate. Thanks!"


"Your wish is my command, Jim!"

(Aug. 6, 1970 - Nov. 11, 2002)

Has it really been that long?

 

 

Day Four - After breakfast and a visit with Ronnie, Carol, Danny and Amee Barber, Ron and Valeta and Jim and Lynda head for home.

Thanks to Patty and Gordie for another wonderful reunion!!!

Ron and Valeta stop by, on their drive home, for a visit with Fred's son, Freddie...

...while Jim and Lynda enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Hood from the airplane window.
